Ms. Chang is a member of INTA and China National Bar Association, a member of the IPR Professional Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association, and was rated as Excellent Attorney in 2004 by Beijing Lawyers Association. In 2006, Ms. Chang was rated as a Top International Trademark Attorney by Who's Who Legal, an official partner of the International Bar Association. Only three attorneys won this prestigious title in the China Region. In 2007, Ms. Chang was awarded once again as one of the top four international IP attorneys in the China Region. In 2008, Ms. Chang was listed in the 2008 Leading Trademark Law Practitioners Guide by MIP (Managing Intellectual Property).
Ms. Chang has started her attorney career in 1992 in IP law and has obtained rich experience from years of practice. Ms. Chang's practice focuses on the application and protection for trademark, patent, copyright and domain name, the management and assignment of intellectual property rights, IP-related unfair competition, consumer rights protection, product liability, and advertisements.
Ms. Chang acted for many international enterprises in IP protection work, including application for trademark and patent, customs recordal and protection for IP rights, assignment and license of IP rights, market investigation and protection for IP rights, negotiation and mediation for IP-related disputes and participation in administrative enforcement and case action against IP infringement.
Ms. Chang has been active for years in various IP organizations, including the International Trademark Association and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. She has been invited to chair international round table conventions and deliver professional speeches introducing China's laws and practice. She has also published a number of IP papers in both foreign and domestic magazines.
