Practice Areas

Mr. Tsi is the managing partner of the firm. Before starting private legal practice, he has worked with a number of government organizations including university, the justice department, the Ministry of Personnel, and the State Power Grid Construction Corporation. As a result, he is very familiar with the working mechanism of judicial system and has accumulated rich experiences in the field.  Over years of working and practice, Mr. Tsi has established an extensive network of important contacts and has maintained good working relations with various ministries under the State Council.  He is also supported by rich and diversified experiences in enterprise management and corporate legal matters. Mr. Tsi is a member of INTA and the Government Legal Advisors Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association.

Mr. Tsi concentrates his practice in the fields of litigation and arbitration, corporate laws, security and finance, construction and real estate, and intellectual property.

Mr. Tsi has worked with many high-level clients. For example, he headed the M&A project of Shen Hua Group Corporation Ltd. buying a mineral group in Xinjiang and several other private mineral enterprises of Inner Mongolia. He also oversaw Beida Jade Bird Group's acquisition of Bailing Wireless Corporation, as well as the international tendering and insurance project of power transmission and transformation equipments in the Three Gorges Project. Mr. Tsi also acts as counsels to many renowned domestic companies such as China Life Insurance (Group) Co., China Development Bank, and National Center of Human Resources Mobility of the Ministry of Personnel.  Mr. Tsi is also an active participant in public welfare and charity activities, offering free legal services to these programs.

Mr. Tsi has represented Honeywell International Inc., a top 500 company, in winning a trademark infringement & unfair competition case, in which Honeywell was recognized as a well-known trademark. He also successfully represented a construction company in a complicated contract dispute against a Beijing real estate developer which involved RMB 320 million.  Because of the significance of the case and the expertise Mr. Tsi demonstrated, Hong Kong Bar Association, during its official visit to Beijing, was invited to watch the case in session at Beijing Higher People's Court.

In addition, Mr. Tsi is highly experienced and successful in handling complicated petitions, retrials, and crisis management for enterprises.
