Mr. Liu is a partner of the firm. He graduated with an LLM from the University of Exeter in International Business Law.

Mr. Liu focuses his practice on litigation/arbitration, corporate law, M&A, financing, and IP law.

Mr. Liu started his legal career in 1997. Years of practice have brought him extensive experiences and sophisticated skills in many aspects of the legal profession. He has successfully represented clients in hundreds of litigations/arbitrations and has been a legal counsel to companies such as Qingdao Daily News Group, Qingdao TV station and Hisense Group for years. Because of his excellent performance, Mr. Liu has been repeatedly awarded with professional honors.

In respect of IPR protection, Mr. Liu has proven his expertise in solving disputes relating to trademarks, patents, copyrights, and unfair competitions. He has represented various clients in many different types of litigation and negotiation proceedings. Mr. Liu is a valuable participant in projects concerning the design of IP protection mechanisms for many big-name companies such as Hisense and LG Elevator.  He also advises many companies on IPR licensing and transfers.

Mr. Liu is also an expert in corporate law and is very experienced in the area of M&A and FDI.  He acted as the team leader in the restructuring of Qingdao Daily News Group, Qingdao Gold Bridge Advertising Group, and other state-owned enterprises. He has also headed teams to provide legal services for various M&A transactions including those for Navinfo and Cennavi.
